Karting to GB4
Holly Miall’s Motorsport Journey
Holly has shared her dad’s love of motorsport and cars from the tender age of 4 years-old. She attended touring cars, kart meetings and car shows with him, and as soon as she was old enough to drive a kart she wanted to learn how to. Discover her journey from her early days in karting, through to today where she is racing in the GB4 Championship.
Karting
2013 to 2022
At just six years old, Holly completed at the Bambino Academy at Whilton Mill. After a year testing in a corporate kart at Brentwood Karting, she finally got her first Bambino Zip kart for her 7th Birthday.
From here, Holly quickly graduated to a Project One Cadet kart. Her passion for the sport was clear to see and in 2018 she competed in the Bambino Karting Championship before joining the Callum Hardgrave Driver Development programme. She completing her ARKS test so she could race in the Motorsport UK rounds around the country. 2019 was our first full year racing.
From 2020 to 2022, Holly was a part of the JAXX Motorsport team and flourished at the top level in the country, competing in the British Karting Championship.
Ginetta Junior
2023-2024 Seasons
After competing against more than 65 drivers in the Ginetta Junior Scholarship in late 2022, Holly impressed with her pace and car control, making it through to the final day of the competition.
With her talent shining through, the next step was clear—transitioning to cars. She chose to race in the Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship, where she spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons driving for Fox Motorsport. In this fiercely competitive series, Holly gained invaluable experience, honing her racecraft and developing the skills essential for a future in single-seater racing.
GB4
2025
This season marks an exciting new chapter in Holly’s journey towards Formula 1 as she steps up to the prestigious GB4 Championship. Once again, she is racing with Fox Motorsport.
The competition will be as tough as ever, but Holly has already shown good form in testing. With everything to fight for, the top-placed female driver will earn a valuable prize fund to support their entry into the F1 Academy, an opportunity Holly is determined to seize.
Alongside her racing commitments, Holly is also studying for an Enhanced Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DISE). This is a fantastic programme run in collaboration between the Motorsport UK Academy and Loughborough College, designed to support elite young athletes in their sporting and academic development.
Holly also takes on the role of brand ambassador for her sponsors, leveraging the excitement and reach of motorsport to help grow their businesses.
